Fliteboarding is easy to learn, with no prior experience required. Thanks to its steep learning curve, most beginners are up and foiling within their very first session.

Course description
Discover the unique sensation of floating over water with the Fliteboard. The Fliteboard E-Foil is a surfboard equipped with a hydrofoil and powered by an electric motor. At a certain speed, the Fliteboard lifts off and glides effortlessly above the water.
As an authorized Fliteschool partner, we will teach you how to fly over the water with the Fliteboard. Efoiling with the Fliteboard is easy to learn and provides even seasoned water sports enthusiasts with an exciting and fulfilling experience every time.
We offer courses for 1-3 participants. You can book a single place or reserve two or three places per session. For larger groups, please contact us at: info@wake-park.nl.
Our Fliteboard lessons are personalized to your needs, covering all aspects of fliteboarding. The course lasts 1 hour, with about 45 minutes spent on the water. During this time, you will learn not only how to ride but also the necessary theory, ensuring you can fliteboard independently in the future.
If you have no prior experience in water sports, we will tailor the lesson to help you gradually get accustomed to the water and steadily build your skills. Our goal is to provide you with the safe and unique experience of flying over the water.
For the beginner course, we provide the Fliteboard, helmet, and impact protection vest.

questions & answers
When are coaching sessions available?
Currently you can book a coaching session daily from 18-19h (Mo-Fr) and from 11-12h and 17-18h (weekends & holidays).
How long is a coaching session?
Our coaching sessions are 1h long, with roughly 15Min. on land introduction and 45Min. on the water. Learning something new is intense work for our nervous system and therefore tiring, taking longer session is in most cases not productive. However, if you want to go longer, you can book an additional 30Min. on the water for 39€, just talk to your coach.
Must I pre book my session?
Yes, please pre book your coaching session online before you come. You can also book our sessions last minute online if a slot is still available and you can always check availability in our booking system. For rental, guided tours and coaching sessions outside the normal time frame, please drop a mail or call (info@wake-park.nl / 0049 1797799779).
What must I bring to my session, when should I show up?
You are required to bring swim wear and a towel, if you have, you may also bring your own wetsuit, impact vest and water sports helmet. However, you can also rent anything from us. A saftey vest and a helmet are always included in the ticket price.
Is e-Foiling difficult?
Depending on your pre experience, getting up on the e-Foil and flying might be quite easy for you and maybe achieved in the first lesson. If you have no pre experience standing on a board riding sideways, it might take a bit longer (2-3 sessions). We strive to let everybody fly within the first coaching session, if not standing, than on the knees. It will definitly take you 3-5 sessions before you are in full control of the Fliteboard and can take longer tours all by yourself.
Can I just rent a board and try it on my own?
We share the waterways with many other participants such as boaters, swimmers, jet skiers and wind surfers. The safety of all watersports enthousiasts is our greatest concern, therefore, we will not let you try the Fliteboard without any pre experience on your own. After you have learned to eFoil and are open to pay attention to the traffic around you, you may eFoil on your own, this usually happens after 3-5 coaching sessions, we have a small practical test for everyone who wants to fly on his own (fly for 5Min, heelside turn, toeside turn, board control drill, controlled stop, emergency stop), once you pass the test, you are ready to go.
Is eFoiling dangerous?
An eFoil has a strong engine, sharp edges and can go really fast, if not handled properly, it can definitely be dangerous, not only for the eFoiler but also for the people around him, therefore, it is essential to learn all the basics in our coaching sessions.
What is the minimum age to eFoil?
The minimum age is to participate in a course is 16. The minimum age to rent an eFoil is 18.
Am I liable of damage?
An eFoil is a big investment, we therefore show each customer how to handle eFoils correctly, if you follow the instructions of the coach, you are not liable of any damage, however, if you do not follow the instructions of the coach or rent and damage the eFoil, you are liable.
